GROUND POWER UNIT (GPU)

Ground Power unit adalah Suatu peralatan Ground Support Equipment (GSE) yang mempunyai fungsi untuk menghasilkan arus listrik, yang dibutuhkan sesuai spesifikasi Pesawat Udara. semua type/model dari ground power unit dari berbagai macam merk pabrikan memiliki fungsi yang sama dan hanya dibatasi oleh kapasitas maksimum dari generatornya, yang biasa disebut dari besaran KVAnya.

    - 90 KVA ( 1 Out Put Cable ) for NB

    - 120 KVA ( 2 Out Put Cable ) for WB

    - 130 KVA ( 2 Out Put Cable ) for WB

    - 140 KVA ( 2 Out Put Cable ) for WB

    - 150 KVA ( 2 Out Put Cable ) for WB

    - 180 KVA ( 2 Out Put Cable ) for WB

Generator GPU

    - Dc Voltage 28 Vdc

    - Frequency 400 Hz

Protection System adalah Suatu sistim control pengaman untuk menjaga komponen electrical dan electronic pada pesawat maupun pada GPU

    - Over Frequency ( 420 Hz )

    - Under Frequency ( 380 Hz )

    - Over Load 125% dari kapasitas generator ( Merupakan pengaman dari Generator )

Setiap peralatan harus memiliki prosedure operasi sehingga dalam pengoperasiannya memudahkan operator dan juga menjaga live time dan performance alat tersebut dimana dalam proses pengoperasian peralatan sebelum unit tersebut dihidupkan/ dioperasikan maka wajib dilakukan Pre Operation Check.

•Switch off the contactor switch #1 or #2 AC output or 28Vdc output

•Select ignition key to off position and engine running in idle position until cooling down mode 3 – 5 minute

•Remove cable plug from aircraft
